ตามประกาศสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เรื่อง ลำดับเกียรติเครื่องราชอิสริยาภรณ์ไทย ได้กล่าวถึงการจัดลำดับเกียรติเครื่องราชอิสริยาภรณ์ และเหรียญราชอิสริยาภรณ์ให้เรียงตามประเภทตระกูลหรือชั้นตราสูงสุดตามลำดับ

                ๒. เหรียญบำเหน็จกล้าหาญ
                ๓. เหรียญบำเหน็จในราชการ
                ๔. เหรียญบำเหน็จในพระองค์
                ๕. เหรียญที่ระลึกต่าง ๆ

                 สำหรับเหรียญที่ระลึก ให้ถือเหรียญที่ระลึกของทางราชการมาก่อนเหรียญที่ระลึก ซึ่งมิใช่เป็นของทางราชการ และถืออาวุโสในการสร้างก่อนหลังของเหรียญแต่ละชนิด เป็นการเรียงลำดับ ซึ่งจะได้ถือลำดับดังต่อไปนี้
